Thatcher Zavaro & Mani seeks a full-time legal assistant to join its team in our Greenbelt office. We are a small, boutique law firm specializing in employment and labor litigation.
Responsibilities: e-file court documents; telephone intake of prospective clients; maintain electronic/digital files; maintain case files; maintain firm’s calendar to ensure deadlines are noted; proofread, edit, and format court documents; other assorted duties and office tasks.
Qualifications: proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat, solid data-entry and computer skills; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Our ideal candidate is courteous, has good judgment, can maintain confidentiality, is great on the phone and has excellent communication skills, is punctual, organized and demonstrates flexibility and teamwork in supporting attorneys’ priorities and workload demands. Experience and familiarity with litigation, marketing and social media is a plus.
