Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tire Technician AND Automotive Detailer. This is a multi-faceted role. Our ideal candidate must be able to mount and balance tires AND detail vehicles when you join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that tires are mounted and balanced properly and repairing all types of tires. Vehicles are cleaned, polished, and maintained to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction will play a crucial part in enhancing the overall appearance of our vehicles.
Duties
- Mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing all types of tires on various vehicles from passenger cars to light duty trucks.
- Load and unload stock and assist with physical inventory.
- Work with tire TPMS systems and programming. (Tire Pressure Management System).
- Must be able to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30-100 lbs with or without mechanical assistance.
- Perform thorough cleaning of both the interior and exterior of vehicles, including washing, waxing, and buffing surfaces.
- Utilize various cleaning products and equipment effectively to achieve optimal results.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and supplies are stored properly.
- Assist in the preparation of vehicles for sale or delivery, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive detailing or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using both power tools and hand tools effectively.
- Experience in tire service is required.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
