Senior Project Engineer - Weld

Role Overview: Support early feasibility studies, develop project strategies, and coordinate departmental activities based on Project A00. Manage maturation of components, processes, equipment, and training through T Stage build events, and assist with mass production startup planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Review business plans, align with Honda’s future vision, and set targets linked to schedules
• Investigate new manufacturing technologies and specifications
• Support drawing reviews, virtual builds, and mentor project teams on weld characteristics
• Evaluate design changes, share impact on production, and prepare reports
• Coordinate build activities, track issues, and mentor teams on part sorting and VIN entry
• Lead feedback summaries, support shutdown builds, and review project milestones
• Maintain meetings to monitor progress on equipment, standards, and training
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in 3D modeling (preferably CATIA), Honda design systems, and cost management
  
  

Work Conditions: Ability to lift 20 lbs, operate tools, travel as needed, and work various shifts including weekends.
