Part Time - Teller

Role Overview: On-site position responsible for delivering high-quality customer service by processing daily financial transactions in a retail banking environment. Acts as the first point of contact, recommending bank products and referring clients to other departments. Develops and maintains profitable client relationships to maximize revenue, while ensuring adherence to procedural standards and cash control.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash drawer operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with security policies.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and miscellaneous transactions like bonds and money orders.
• Assist with ATM balancing, deposit verification, and vault duties, maintaining operational efficiency.
• Stay updated on operational policies and compliance requirements.
  
  

Client Experience & Sales

• Provide excellent client service, promptly resolving issues and assisting with service needs.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities, promote bank products, and refer prospects appropriately.
• Attend training to enhance product knowledge and service delivery.
  
  

Compliance & Other Duties

• Ensure compliance with bank regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
• Perform all other related job duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Prior cash handling or teller experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, 10-key calculator, coin counter, and familiarity with office equipment.
  
  

Additional Information: No supervisory responsibilities. Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily and adhere to risk management and internal control policies.
