Maintenance Engineer - Full Time

Role Overview: The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing essential systems that ensure the smooth operation of hotel facilities, directly impacting guest and staff experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on diverse systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct carpentry tasks including repairing and installing wood fixtures, flooring, and finishes.
• Handle painting, wallpapering, surface preparation, and refinishing to meet quality standards.
• Maintain commercial kitchen equipment, electrical panels, lighting, and plumbing fixtures.
• Operate, repair, and maintain mechanical laundry equipment.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel or resort maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Experience with energy management systems and CMMS software.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• Preferred expertise in wood staining, flooring, wallpaper hanging, or commercial kitchen appliances.
  
  

Additional Details: Must be at least 18 years old, available for night shifts including weekends and holidays. The role offers a pay rate of $36.78 per hour and may include benefits such as medical and financial coverage.
