Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Role Overview: The Senior Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards. They perform complex repairs, explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and staff, and recommend necessary services. The role requires working with computerized diagnostic tools, following safety protocols, and maintaining professionalism in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles based on certifications and experience
• Perform repairs and multi-point inspections accurately and efficiently
• Communicate technical issues and repair needs clearly to customers and team members
• Recommend and document necessary vehicle services

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous automotive technician or mechanic experience or ASE certifications
• Proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver’s license and ability to demonstrate technical skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions and meet physical demands such as standing, bending, lifting, and handling tools
