Responsibilities
- Manage office operations, greeting visitors and directing them appropriately with professional phone etiquette
- Operate multi-line phone systems efficiently, handling inquiries and routing calls promptly
- Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring easy access to documents
- Perform data entry for family cases
- Coordinate calendar management, scheduling appointments, meetings, and personal assistance tasks with precision
- Support office management activities including supply ordering, inventory tracking, and maintaining office equipment
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously in person or over the phone
- Assist with general clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
Experience
- Proven office experience with a strong background in administrative or clerical roles
- Experience managing phone systems and front desk responsibilities
- Bilingual skills are a must to effectively serve diverse clients and team members
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience in funeral home customer service or customer support roles is highly desirable
