Wage: $11-12/hour
Shift: Part time (15 hours per week). Mon-Sat. Includes some holidays.

Responsibilities:
- Engage visitors of all ages through hands-on family learning, guided exploration, and critical thinking.
- Model curiosity, confidence, and compassion to create positive, meaningful experiences.
- Provide extraordinary guest service while helping maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Operate the cash register at the front desk and gift shop.
- Facilitate fun, inquiry-based learning experiences.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with coworkers.
- Maintain knowledge of Thanksgiving Point?s venues and activities and share information with guests.
- Help guests safely enjoy animal interactions, pony rides, cow milking, our one-of-a-kind playground, and the cutest train in town.
- Welcome and include guests of all backgrounds and abilities.
- Follow all safety rules, procedures, and workplace expectations.
- Exemplify Thanksgiving Point?s mission, values, and policies with curiosity, compassion, and confidence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to give and receive constructive feedback.
- An enthusiastic, can-do approach to work.
- Comfortable working outdoors, around farm animals?including ponies, pigs, chickens, and goats?and in large crowds.
- Patient and positive in active, high-energy, and sometimes noisy environments.
- Comfortable initiating conversations, engaging guests, and compassionately enforcing safety procedures.
- Willing and able to learn cash-register operation, money handling, and educational facilitation techniques.
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds, climb stairs, bend, stand for extended periods, and handle small objects.
- At least 16 years old.
- Current and valid driver?s license.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
