Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with Industrial Arts and Luddy Institute of Technology (LIT) classes
- Support classroom instruction and hands-on student projects
- Set up equipment and materials following existing lesson plans
- Help maintain an organized, safe, and productive classroom environment
- Learn curriculum while working under the guidance of the lead instructor
- Assume increased instructional responsibilities over time
- Some combination of experience or interest in one or more of the following areas: Engineering and Design, CAD/SolidWorks, Robotics, Woodworking, Basic mechanics, 3D printing, Electronics, Practical Life Skills, Home Repair, Cooking and Nutrition, First Aid and Safety
- Must be adaptable, eager to learn, organized
- A passion for teaching
- Teaching experience preferred but not required
