3rd Shift Skilled Trades Die Finisher
Primary Job Function:
Repair and maintain tools to support Press Stamping production.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Complete a wide range of Tool amp; Die activities associated with engineering changes, project launches and die repair
- Instill good communications between shifts and departments for all activities
- Help with training of Tool amp; Die personnel
- Maintain equipment and a clean work environment
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 3 years of Tool amp; Die Experience in Tool amp; Die
- Complete required College Courses (may not be necessary based on experience)
- Ability to weld (MIG, TIG, ARC)
- Ability to run machines (surface grinder, mill, lathe, radial drill)
- Basic computer knowledge
- Organizational and communications skills.
Training Requirements or Equivalents:
- New hire orientation
- ERP System Training
Health, Safety and Physical Demand Requirements:
- Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional lifting, climbing, carrying, pulling, griping, grasping, twisting, bending, stooping and reaching throughout the work day
- Hand and eye coordination
- Ability to sit stand and walk for extended periods of time (8 hours or more)
- Ability to use a phone and computer keyboard
- Ability to work in office and manufacturing environment
