Responsibilities
- Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are maintained.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing to meet quality standards.
- Support servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area.
- Handle food handling responsibilities following proper safety and sanitation protocols to ensure guest health and safety.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and smooth transaction flow.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food timing and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain clear communication with team members to support a cohesive service flow and enhance guest experiences.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, demonstrating familiarity with food handling and safety standards.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including serving techniques and food preparation processes.
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is preferred for efficient order processing.
- Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus, showcasing versatility in various service settings.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members alike.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
