Responsibilities
- Manage and service an established commercial lines book of business consisting of approximately 300 client accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while responding promptly to coverage questions and service requests.
- Process policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and policy changes accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and other policy documentation.
- Market both new and renewal business to multiple insurance carriers to secure competitive coverage options.
- Prepare renewal proposals and review policy recommendations with clients.
- Communicate regularly with insurance carriers and underwriters to resolve coverage questions and negotiate solutions.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the agency management system.
- Support producers with new business onboarding, account transitions, and retention efforts.
- Balance multiple priorities while meeting deadlines for renewals, endorsements, carrier requests, and client deliverables.
- Deliver a high level of customer service focused on long-term client retention and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience.
- Experience managing a generalist commercial property and casualty book of business.
- Ability to independently handle renewals, endorsements, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), and day-to-day account servicing.
- Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
- Experience working directly with insurance carriers and underwriters.
- Experience using an agency management system (AMS 360 experience preferred; similar systems such as Applied Epic are acceptable).
- Property & Casualty License preferred or willingness to obtain after hire.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
