About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Firm Director to lead our tax division, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services. This role requires strong leadership, deep tax expertise, and the ability to build client relationships while guiding a high-performing team.

🌎 Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and overall strategy for the Tax Division.
• Oversee tax compliance, client engagements, and advisory services for individuals and businesses.
• Mentor and manage tax professionals and administrative staff.
• Review and approve complex tax returns and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive business development, revenue growth, and process optimization.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to align tax strategies with financial advisory goals.
• Implement technology, workflow improvements, and quality-control initiatives.
• Monitor industry trends and advise clients on tax implications.
• Prepare and present performance metrics, forecasts, and strategic plans.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of tax experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Proven team leadership, client management, and business development skills.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
