Position Overview:
The Fund Accountant will play a critical role in managing the accounting and reporting functions for our private credit funds. This individual will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, and support investor relations through timely and transparent communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for private credit funds.
- Perform NAV calculations and reconcile fund activity, including capital calls, distributions, and management fees.
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate posting of transactions.
- Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors and administrators.
- Support investor reporting and respond to ad-hoc requests from internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and firm policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in public accounting, fund accounting, preferably within private credit, private equity, or alternative investments.
- Strong understanding of investment structures and partnership accounting.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with fund accounting systems is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
