About the Role
TFI International is seeking a Risk Analyst to join our Insurance & Compliance team. This role is ideal for an insurance professional who enjoys combining commercial insurance knowledge with data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
This is a commercial insurance and risk management position focused on insurance renewals, exposure analysis, certificates of insurance, and compliance activities. Candidates from underwriting, commercial insurance, broker, carrier, claims, or corporate risk management backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Support commercial insurance programs, renewals, exposure analysis, and reporting.
- Coordinate insurance renewals and gather exposure data from operating companies.
- Review insurance policies, coverage terms, limits, deductibles, and contractual insurance requirements.
- Issue certificates of insurance and support day-to-day insurance administration activities.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain data from claims, audits, renewals, and other insurance-related sources.
- Maintain Excel workbooks, tracking tools, and reports used to support risk management activities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, summaries, and process documentation for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with brokers, operating companies, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of insurance-related requirements.
- Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Risk Management function.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of insurance, risk management, analyst, or related experience.
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required or strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent insurance experience combined with an active P&C license will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and exposure data.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, data analysis, and pivot tables.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting commercial insurance programs, renewals, or corporate risk management functions is a plus.
