Job description:
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Metairie, LA team. This role includes answering customer calls, scheduling appointments, assisting with data entry, and handling a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities will be added as your knowledge of our business practices grows.
Your Objectives
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, respond to emails, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist in dispatching and routing Field Service Technicians to various service calls, ensuring quick and efficient response times
- Perform general office support tasks, including scheduling, managing paperwork, maintaining accurate records, and updating customer information as needed
- Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently
- Manage work in progress, proactively handle open service orders, anticipate customer needs, and resolve escalated service issues effectively
- Work closely with management and the service team to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations
- Learn and use company systems, including cloud-based scheduling tools and Google Workspace
- Provide insight to improve business operations and enhance customer relationships
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with Google Sheets and scheduling software preferred.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting where priorities can shift quickly.
- Previous experience in customer service, dispatch, or administrative roles where multitasking was essential.
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality (Monday–Friday).
- Ability to type 45 WPM.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of customer service, dispatch, or administrative experience.
