Mortgage Loan Processor

The right candidate will play a key role in helping us scale operations and will have the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities, oversee future processing staff, and help shape the next chapter of TFG Mortgage.

This position goes beyond traditional mortgage processing. Initially, you will manage loan files from application through closing, while also helping our team structure and prepare files from the moment the loan application (1003) is completed. You'll work closely with loan officers and leadership to ensure every file is properly organized, documented, and positioned for success before moving through disclosure, underwriting, and closing. As TFG Mortgage grows, we envision this individual helping build and oversee a dedicated loan coordination and processing team, creating processes, training new hires, and supporting the expansion of our operations.

• Review and structure loan files upon receipt of a completed 1003 application
• Work with loan officers and borrowers to gather and organize documentation (we have an assistant to help with this as well)
• Ensure files are complete and ready for disclosure
• Process residential mortgage loan files from application through closing
• Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and other parties throughout the transaction (we have an assistant to help with this as well)
• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Clear underwriting conditions and monitor loan milestones
• Maintain compliance with company, investor, and regulatory guidelines
• Help develop and improve operational workflows as the company grows
• Assist with training and onboarding future processing and operations team members

• Mortgage processing experience preferred
• Strong understanding of mortgage documentation and loan structuring
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
