Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting various accounting functions using industry-standard software.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, for management review
- Perform account analysis and account reconciliation to ensure data integrity across all financial records
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and other financial tools to record transactions accurately
- Assist with budgeting processes and financial report writing to support organizational planning
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Knowledge of financial concepts including double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and account analysis
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills for account analysis and financial report writing
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and external auditors
