Job Summary

This role supports all Front of House responsibilities including register, beverage/mocktail prep, salsa station, and dining room cleanliness, following The Tacoverse Standard at every step.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Hospitality
• Greet every guest with a sincere smile, eye contact, and enthusiastic attitude—delivering T.A.C.O. Hospitality:

• Take accurate orders with speed and clarity, suggestively sell featured items and combos.
• Resolve guest concerns immediately and escalate to a manager when needed.
Cash Handling & Register Operations
• Follow Tacoverse cash handling procedures precisely, including:
o Accurate drawer setup and closeout
o Change-counting and guest check validation
o Safe drops and over-ring notifications
• Notify manager of any register discrepancies or equipment issues.
Food Safety & Product Quality
• Maintain strict adherence to holding times, rotation standards, and cleanliness of service areas.
• Ensure all products served or displayed are fresh, within hold time, and visually appealing.
• Support accurate portioning of beverages and salsa using approved tools and containers.
Stocking & Cleanliness
• Keep the register, beverage station, condiment stand, and dining room fully stocked and clean throughout the shift.
• Refill napkins, utensils, cups, lids, and iced tea frequently.
• Support the team by restocking items and alerting leadership to any low-stock situations.
Team Support
• Support all FOH functions including dining room upkeep, packaging for to-go orders, mocktail preparation, and expo as needed.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and fellow team members to ensure smooth shift execution.
Additional Responsibilities
• Participate in shift setup and closing checklists as assigned.
• Perform any additional duties requested by management to ensure restaurant success.
Skills & Attributes
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to serve others.
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy and hospitality.
• Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to handle cash responsibly and follow security protocols.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications & Experience
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months experience in customer service, hospitality, or restaurant environment is a plus.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and a variety of shifts.
