Play Based Clinic

Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Monday - Friday

No Weekends

We offer multi-level supports from the CD, DOO, and CEO.

Job Summary:

The BCBA is responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and overseeing the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for clients, primarily individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. The BCBA will supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are evidence-based and effectively meet the needs of the clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Assessment & Treatment Planning:
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) to identify the reasons for challenging behaviors.
  • Design individualized ABA therapy programs based on assessment results and client-specific needs.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans with clear, measurable goals targeting skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
  • Low Billable - 27 hours
  • Supervision & Training:
  • Provide ongoing supervision and training to RBTs, ensuring fidelity in the implementation of ABA interventions.
  • Offer feedback, guidance, and coaching to staff to enhance their performance and professional development.
  • Monitor the progress of each client by conducting regular data reviews and ensuring treatment integrity.
  • Direct Therapy & Program Modification:
  • Engage in one-on-one or small group therapy sessions when necessary to model techniques or provide direct care.
  • Modify treatment plans and strategies as needed based on the data collected from ongoing interventions.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to address skill deficits in communication, social skills, daily living, and other developmental areas.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency across environments and increase the generalization of skills.
  • Communicate regularly with caregivers regarding client progress, goals, and any program changes.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and work with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other professionals.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and session data.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Stay informed of and comply with clinic policies, state and federal regulations, and insurance requirements.
  • Professional Development:
  • Stay current with the latest research, methods, and trends in ABA and related fields.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to maintain BCBA certification and enhance clinical skills.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Certification: Must hold current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience providing ABA services, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to physically engage with clients, which may include bending, lifting, or participating in activities that require mobility.

Work Environment:

  • Clinic-based setting with occasional travel to schools, homes, or other community environments for client generalization.
