Texell Credit Union College Summer Paid Internship

Texell Credit Union, voted the #1 credit union in Central Texas, and ranked the 11th Best Credit Union to work for in the nation by American Banker, is looking for a college-level Software Development intern for this coming Summer to make a meaningful impact on our business.  We offer the opportunity to gain real-world work experience to boost your resume and help you get a leg up in your post-college career search. Plus, we are going to pay you $18/hr.
 

PROGRAM DETAILS

Texell’s summer internship program involves:

• Completing the following project: Evaluating AI models to help update legacy code in bulk, determining which models work best for the project, and using the selected models to update code in a test environment. Evaluating the success of the project by amount of rework required by human developers and producing a final report.
• Exposure to the operations of a financial institution by assisting with Basic Software Development duties to include daily stand-ups, project assignment, development, testing, and sign-off. Will work closely with our software development project manager and business analysts.
• Main programming duties to include UI/UX Improvements primarily using CSS/JavaScript. Some backend or database work may be introduced if required.
• Working 28 hours a week from May after classes end through August before classes begin.
• Opportunity to support the community by participating in our Texell Serves employee volunteer and service program.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of 70 college credit hours (we will accept graduate students as well)
• Enrolled as a full-time student in spring of 2026 (12 hours for undergrad, 6 hours for graduate school)
• Entering your final year of a bachelor’s or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university
