We are looking for an Inside Salesperson in our Norcross office. Please review these job requirements:
1. Quotation and Proposals:
· Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for customers within a set time frame
· Create detailed proposals outlining product specifications, pricing, and terms of sale.
· Quotes and Sales are mainly generated by phone calls, emails, and text messages. All are expected to be completed in a set time period.
2. Support Outside Sales
· Work in conjunction with the outside team to deliver an exceptional care level to our family of customers
· Work with the outside team and Sales Manager to come to formulate everyday price levels based on market conditions
3. Product Expertise
· Acquire in-depth knowledge of our overhead door products and accessories as well as all competitive options
· Understand the features, benefits, and technical customization choices available. Learn the TexDoor secret sauce.
· Educate customers on various options, styles, and customization options available
4. Sales Generations
· Conduct outbound calls, emails, and in-person visits to introduce our products and services
· Respond to inquiries and leads promptly and professionally.
· Work with your assigned customers to move open orders out as quickly as possible
· Follow up on quotes in a timely manner
5. Customer Relationship Management
· Collaborate with the Outside Sales Team, Inside Team, Sales Manager and other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences and timely delivery
· Communicate with production and installation teams to facilitate smooth order processing and fulfillment
· Work with order entry team to ensure orders are typed correctly and in a timely manner
6. Market Research
· Stay up to date on TexDoor product offerings. We want to be on the forefront of any market trends, so our stock items are constantly changing
· Work with your assigned customers to analyze market changes to identify opportunities for business growth and opportunities
7. Sales Reporting
· Maintain Sales Reports.
i. Down Dealer reporting is a key indicator that we will stay in front of.
ii. Open Order reports will be updated monthly
iii. Customer List will be turned in monthly to report large jobs, quoting opportunities, market changes, and customer needs
· Work with Trouble Ticket coordinator to ensure all issues are reported
8. All other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Prior sales experience with a garage door company, preferred
- Proven sales experience in a similar industry
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and on the phone
- Excellent Microsoft Office suite experience
- Experience working with market research and establishing market trends
