Private Property Tow Truck Driver – Day Shift (with rotating nights)

About the Job
Texas Towaway is expanding our private property towing division and we’re looking for a dependable, alert, and professional tow truck driver to join our team. This position is day shift (approx. 8AM–6PM) with Sunday night on and Saturday night every other week for property patrols and response.
We service apartment complexes, mobile home communities, and commercial sites throughout North Texas. You’ll be patrolling for violations, responding to calls, enforcing property parking rules, and handling impounds — all while representing our brand with respect and professionalism.
What You’ll Do
- Patrol assigned properties for violations (permit, fire lane, expired tags, etc.)
- Tow vehicles in violation of posted signage or per property manager instruction
- Respond promptly to on-call dispatches during your night rotation
- Maintain clean, accurate impound records and digital tow documentation
- Operate wheel-lift tow trucks safely and in compliance with DOT rules
- Communicate courteously with property staff and vehicle owners when necessary
- Conduct pre- and post-shift truck inspections and report issues
Schedule
- Full-time Day Shift (approx. 45 hours/week)
- Rotating Nights:
- Saturday night shift
- Sunday night shifts every other weekend
(Extra pay for night shift callouts)
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Texas Driver’s License (CDL not required)
- Clear driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Reliable transportation to and from our lot in Denton, TX
- Strong awareness and attention to detail (you're the front line of enforcement)
- Comfortable working independently outdoors in various conditions
- Previous towing experience is preferred — but we’ll train the right person
- Ability to remain calm in occasional high-stress situations
