Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality patient service by providing thorough patient care, effective communication, and personal attention.
- Prepare the treatment rooms, patient records, equipment, and necessary instruments for dental procedures
- Provide chairside assistance to the doctor including but not limited to: basic and complex restorative, surgical, endodontic, pediatric, emergency, and preventative dental procedures
- Record accurate and concise patient and treatment information for clinical notes
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays) and impressions
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care prior to and following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Monitor inventory and ordering of dental supplies.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Current Texas RDA license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
- Team oriented
- Outstanding problem solving and communication skills
- Strong computer skills (google docs, dental software, etc.)
Preferred Skills and Certifications:
- N2O monitoring Certification (can get within 30 days of hire if needed)
- Coronal Polishing Certification (can get within 30 days of hire if needed)
- Experience working with Sedation Dentistry
