What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leadership Gift Officer position at Texas Tech Univ Health Sciences Ctr?
Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, and friends of Texas Tech University to secure leadership annual gifts. Responsible for fiscal management of development goals; and adherence to the prospect management system. Work is performed under general supervision with broad latitude for initiative.
- Manage a portfolio of leadership annual donors. Identifiy, qualifiy, cultivate and solicit prospects toward an individual commitment of $1,000 or greater annually. Meet or exceed annual fundraising goals. Manage a portfolio of 150 donors. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in donor database, entering contact reports and strategy. Build direct
relationships with new and lapsed donors who have been generous to TTUHSC. - Work strategically with TTUHSC senior administrators, faculty, and staff to support university-wide fundraising priorities. Work closely with colleagues in Donor Engagement, Alumni Engagement, and Annual Giving to ensure high-quality engagement of all annual leadership level donors. Facilitates cross-functional communication to support joint fundraising efforts, ensuring timely follow-up and clear role definition for
all partners involved. Ensures that proposals are submitted in a timely manner and clearly articulate impact, alignment with TTUHSC goals, and specific funding opportunities. Prepares appropriate briefing materials and talking points for all leadership participants prior to donor meetings or events.
