Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ALS (Angle Line System) Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Angle Line System, a critical machine used for precise metal fabrication. Your expertise will ensure efficient production, high-quality outputs, and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the Angle Line System, ensuring accurate alignment and calibration according to technical specifications.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify issues
- Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical problems
- Follow safety protocols and prevent accidents
- Conduct quality checks and remove defective items
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication
- Maintain accurate production logs and documentation
- Collaborate with team members and support other staff
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as laser cutters, plasma cutters, or press brakes in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with shop math including basic calculations necessary for machining and fabrication tasks.
- Skilled in using measuring instruments for precision measurement and quality control purposes.
- Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace.
- Ability to set up machining tools and tooling efficiently while following detailed instructions.
- Experience with welding, metal fabrication, or assembly is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of CNC programming concepts is advantageous.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
