Role Description
The Senior Proposal Coordinator coordinates all aspects of grant submission, including budget preparation, compliance review, electronic submissions, and award set-up. This role works closely with faculty, principal investigators, and university leadership to ensure proposals meet sponsor, state, and federal requirements while supporting efficient internal review and approval processes. Qualifications
- Expertise in Proposal Coordination
- Expertise in Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200)
- Experience with federal, state, and private proposal submission processes and portals
- Knowledge of proposal compliance and award set-up processes
- Experience vetting proposals for alignment with Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of proposal submission and award set-up processes in higher education is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with advanced degrees preferred
- Related certifications (such as CRA, CPRA, CFRA, CTCD, etc.) preferred
