What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lecturer position at Texas State University?
The Department of Communication Studies at Texas State University invites applications for a Lecturer in our Accelerated Online Program. This position will involve teaching two classes per 8-week semester (4 classes per semester). Summer teaching is optional but preferred, and includes additional compensation. Candidates should be able to teach any of the courses in our accelerated online program, including foundations of human communication, communication theory, health communication, public speaking, persuasion, interpersonal communication, communication and conflict, small group communication, organizational communication, rhetorical methods, empirical methods, communication and leadership, and intercultural communication.
