Position Summary
Rice Business, located in Houston TX, anticipates having a one-year half-time position available for the 2026-27 academic year. The current plan is for the instructor to teach 6 credit hours of undergraduate financial statement analysis and 3 credit hours of MBA level financial statement analysis in our weekend professional program. This assignment is subject to change based on the availability of faculty and the teaching needs of the accounting area. There is a strong preference for experience teaching financial statement analysis topics but is not a requirement.
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence.
Education Required
A PhD in Accounting or a closely related field conferred by July 1, 2026.
Experience Preferred
Has experience teaching MBAs and coursework on financial statement analysis.
Work Authorization
All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring additional sponsorship.
