JOB SUMMARY:
The COPHS Admissions Manager is a key member of the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (COPHS) Office of Student Services, responsible for leading Pharm.D. and Health Sciences admissions initiatives. This role manages the PharmD admissions process and provides academic guidance for prospective students. The coordinator serves as the primary contact for prospective students, counselors, and community partners, working closely with academic affairs, enrollment management, and student services to support strategic enrollment goals. This position reports to the Assistant Dean of Student Services.

Essential Duties Summary
- Lead the PharmD admissions process, including application review, applicant interviews, and selection committee coordination.
- Assists where necessary and serves as the liaison to TSU Admissions and the Graduate School for undergraduate and graduate admissions
- Manage admissions data and reporting to meet internal, external, and accreditation requirements.
- Advise prospective students on program requirements, prerequisites, and the application process, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for admitted students.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and student services to support holistic student success through first-year progression.
- Supervise and train admissions staff and student ambassadors, managing daily operations and professional development.
- Serve on college/school/ and university committees as required.
- Supports and advances the mission and goals of the university and the college/school in all academic and scholarly activities.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of higher education admissions and CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy and health sciences education requirements, trends, and ACPE Standards related to admissions.
- Must have the ability to use personal computers and Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PharmCAS and Slate.
- Must have excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Must be able to work with a diverse student and faculty population.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to maintain the security or integrity of critical infrastructure, which may include communications systems, computer networks and systems, cybersecurity systems, electrical grid, hazardous waste treatment or water treatment system.
Work Experience
Three (3) to five (5) years of admissions or advising experience in higher education.
