TRI Environmental Group (TRI) is an independent laboratory testing, research, and information management company serving the environmental, geotechnical, and earthen infrastructure industries. TRI is seeking a Project Coordinator ? Laboratory Logistics & Support to provide coordination and administrative support for laboratory testing workflows after scope and authorization are established.
Responsibilities
Project Support: Maintain complete and accurate project records and organize project and sample information following authorization. Confirm receipt of approved work orders and support internal project setup to ensure readiness for laboratory execution. Maintain operational visibility of active work to support orderly progression through laboratory processes.
Client Communication: Provide accurate, factual status updates to clients regarding testing status and laboratory processing stages per established procedures.
Workflow Coordination: Support daily laboratory execution by tracking internal tasks, testing status, and workflow handoffs. Maintain awareness of priorities and sequencing across active work. Document workflow or scheduling issues that may affect execution or reporting.
Documentation & Data: Prepare, organize, and verify project and laboratory documentation. Enter, review, and reconcile data in ERP and LIMS systems. Maintain records supporting QA/QC requirements, accreditation compliance, and traceability of client deliverables.
Reporting: Assist with preparation, organization, and release of laboratory reports. Verify alignment between reported results, laboratory records, and project documentation to support accuracy and consistency. Participation in a rotating Saturday schedule is required, involving review and distribution of laboratory results once every 4?6 weeks for 2?4 hours.

Qualifications: 4 years of relevant experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience and demonstrated capability in inside sales, project coordination, and administrative support roles. Prior exposure to laboratory operations is preferred but not required.
