Shipping Coordinator

Summary
Provides general labor support for the shipping department in a warehouse with a variety of clerical activities and physical tasks, must be capable of lifting 50lbs and below.

Essential Functions

· Reviews and organizes all shipping orders, including domestic and export

· Capable of clerical work while providing physical support to the operation

· Order expediting with email communication and daily workload

· Assists with updating and managing repack/repackaging schedules

· Able to utilize shipping inventory and various office software programs

· Assist with in-house shipping and all logistic related order issues

· Maintain consistent communications between shipping and sales departments

· Able to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends if needed

· Ability to communicate with will call customers and provide excellent customer service

· Other duties as assigned by manager

· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

· Data entry

· Analytical

· Critical thinking

· Strong organizational skills

· Customer service experience

· Detail oriented

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to adapt to new computer systems

· Microsoft Office experience required

Expected Hours of Work
This position will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent

2 years min in shipping/warehousing position

Manufacturing environment experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
