Position: IDD Service Coordination Supervisor/Program Administrator [1105]

Program: Amarillo, Texas – Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Service Coordination (IDDSC)

Salary: $57,033.60 - $60,652.80 Annually

Shift available: Full-time

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
  • Making lives better for individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities both in their homes and in their community
  • Responsible for overseeing the provision of service coordination in the IDD Service Coordination Department including coordinating, linking, and monitoring resources to consumers with intellectual developmental disabilities.
  • Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team to include other service providers, individuals' families, and other TPC departments
  • Provide and document services delivered through a person-centered approach for individuals on caseload and to assist staff in providing services when needed
  • Assists in planning, developing, and implementing program guidelines for the IDD Service Coordination Department
  • Hires, trains, and supervises assigned staff and manages the IDD Service Coordination Department
  • This program serves individuals in the upper 21 counties of the Texas Panhandle so some travel may be required either periodically or during disaster situations
  • Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised

Required qualifications to be successful in the job:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of two (2) years case management experience
  • Graduate work in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of experience

  • Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred qualifications to be successful in the job:

  • Experience working with individuals with IDD diagnoses
  • Experience managing a team
