Position: Case Manager I-III Reset Diversion [1426]

Program: Amarillo, Texas – Reset Diversion

Salary range:

Case Manager I: $40,809.60 Annually

Case Manager II: $43,305.60 Annually

Case Manager III: $46,009.60 Annually

Shift available: Full-time

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
  • Will conduct crisis responses and coordinate with individuals utilizing (Reset) Diversion Center, with those at risk of experiencing a crisis episode
  • Will conduct comprehensive life needs assessments, taking into account needs as viewed by the individual, present service providers, LEO and significant others in a timely manner
  • Provider skills training using evidence-based curriculum
  • Will spend 50% of time with individuals being served in (Reset) Diversion as well as other crisis platforms
  • Will maintain same day next day documentation requirements and a 95% or higher compliance average for all individuals served
  • Executes prudent action in emergency situations and will help team members when individuals need crisis response or other diversion-based services
  • Performs other essential functions and tasks necessary to carry out the purposes of the position
  • Will maintain a positive working relationship with LEO's, in-patient facilities, TPC staff and all other stakeholders
  • Will conduct follow-ups in the community, assessing for safety, completing mental health status exams, and providing appropriate referrals as necessary
  • Adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised

Required qualifications to be successful in the job:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a major in psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, or other related human services field for QMHP credentialing
  • For Case Manager I, no experience required
  • For Case Manager II, at least one (1) year of experience in behavioral health case management
  • For Case Manager III, at least two (2) years of experience in behavioral health case management
  • Graduate work in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of experience
  • Willing to work weekends; flexible scheduling during the week
  • This position will operate with a flexible work schedule to accommodate the needs of the Diversion Center program
  • This position participates in a 24/7 rotating on-call schedule. Applicants must be able to respond in-person to on-call activations when needed. The on-call coverage operates 24/7/365, including holidays and weekends.

  • Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy 
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred qualifications to be successful in the job:

  • One (1) year of experience working with individuals who are justice-involved
