Schedule: Days (Rotating Weekends | Typically 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, staggered)
Pay Range: $35.77 – $49.18/hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000
Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)
Job Description
Overview
A new acute care hospital opening in 2026 in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join its growing rehabilitation team.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new facility launch, working across acute care and a dedicated inpatient rehab unit to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to restore mobility and function
- Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Document patient outcomes accurately and efficiently
- Educate patients and families on exercises and recovery plans
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Support safe patient transitions across care settings
- Mentor therapy assistants or students as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (or eligible) in Florida
- BLS within 30 days of hire
Preferred:
- 1 year of Physical Therapy experience (acute care or inpatient rehab)
