Compensation:
Base Pay: $30.76 – $41.50/hour (based on years of experience)
Differentials: $4.75/hour nights | $3.00/hour weekends | $2.00/hour with national certification
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) | $15,000 (Nights)
Paid 2% on first/second paycheck, balance in 6-month increments
Relocation Assistance: Available, case by case
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a dedicated Med Surg RN to join a 46-bed unit that includes medical and overflow post-surgical patients. Nurses care for a variety of conditions, including some telemetry and oncology admissions, while managing a 6:1 patient ratio. This role is ideal for RNs who thrive in fast-paced environments, are detail-oriented, and committed to delivering safe, compassionate, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor patient conditions, promptly reporting changes
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation
Provide patient education on conditions, medications, and follow-up care
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support continuity of care
Create a healing environment by anticipating and addressing patient needs
Qualifications:
Current Florida RN license or multistate compact license (required)
ADN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
Current BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross)
Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (LTACH, home health, and rehab considered)
Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
