About Living Designs Furniture
Living Designs Furniture creates handcrafted, customizable furniture built in Houston by our in-house artisans. Our Navigation showroom is the flagship for a new elevated concept—one that blends premium retail with interior design services and B2B relationship development.
We are seeking a sales-driven design consultant who can deliver an exceptional customer experience while expanding the Living Designs Furniture brand across Houston’s design and real estate communities.
Position Summary
This is a major role for our company as we grow the Navigation concept. The primary responsibility is sales—using design knowledge, product expertise, and relationship skills to close business, drive revenue, and build a loyal client base.
This role combines showroom sales, interior design consulting, space planning, and B2B business development with designers, realtors, builders, and model home partners.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales and Customer Experience (Primary Responsibility)
- Deliver an exceptional, premium showroom selling experience.
- Convert walk-ins, appointments, and consultations into closed sales.
- Guide clients through furniture customization including size, fabric, comfort, and style.
- Provide basic floor planning and space layout support
- Present full-room solutions that drive attachment sales across categories.
- Manage the full sales process including quotes, follow-up, and post-sale coordination.
- Maintain expert-level product and craftsmanship knowledge.
Showroom and Design Support
- Ensure the Navigation showroom maintains a high level of visual presentation.
- Assist with floor changes, vignette creation, and merchandising updates.
- Stay informed on industry trends and translate them into sales opportunities.
B2B Outreach and Community Relationship Building
- Build relationships with interior design firms, realtors, brokerages, builders, model home communities, and staging companies.
- Conduct proactive outreach and networking to drive traffic and new business.
- Represent the Living Designs Furniture brand professionally in the Houston community.
- Maintain an active pipeline of B2B accounts with consistent follow-up and reporting.
Project and Client Management
- Manage multiple active clients and projects simultaneously.
- Ensure accuracy in measurements, fabrics, timelines, and order details.
- Track client pipelines and provide regular updates on results.
What We’re Looking ForExperience and Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in furniture sales, design consulting, or premium retail sales.
- Strong selling skills with confidence and professionalism.
- Working knowledge of interior design principles, space planning, and furniture selection.
- Proven ability to build long-term customer and B2B relationships.
