Responsibilities
- Sort, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages accurately using RF scanners and other equipment
- Load and unload shipments efficiently, utilizing forklifts when certified, to move heavy items safely within the warehouse
- Maintain organized filing systems for records, shipping documents, and correspondence
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all items are properly documented and stored according to company procedures
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to handle bulky or heavy packages safely
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing inventory and preparing items for shipment or storage
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all loading, unloading, and material handling activities
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred
- Valid forklift certification is a plus; ability to operate forklift safely is highly valued
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail in documentation and sorting tasks
- Experience using RF scanners for inventory management or shipping processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily tasks
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures to ensure accurate processing of shipments
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
