Plans, develops, and implements the Texas Model strategy and services for the agency; provides consultation, coaching, and mentoring services as needed; and provides technical assistance to program staff, governmental agencies, community organizations, or the general public. Coordinates implementation of process improvement plans and monitors, reviews, and evaluates the fidelity of program implementation. Uses training, facilitation, and coaching skills to build systemic competencies. Supervises and trains case managers and clerical staff.Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per work week and be on-call.Essential Job DutiesAssigns and supervises the work of assigned case managers and clerical staff.Provides consultative services, technical assistance, and support to facility staff regarding the agencys case management services programming.Provides oversight, leadership, training and technical assistance to case managers.Monitors, reviews, and evaluates the fidelity of program implementation; recommends activities to produce a more effective program and eliminate gaps in service delivery as needed; and assists other leadership teams with the development of action plans to improve or address areas of concern.Provides ongoing coaching, mentoring, training, and feedback to case managers and program staff; and coordinates implementation of process improvement plans as needed.Analyzes data and program operations; prepares or reviews administrative reports and provides feedback on patterns and trends; and utilizes data and reports to assist in the oversight of programs.Participates in policy and procedure manual development for the agency case management program; and prepares justifications for procedural or policy changes.Actively participates in staff and special meetings regarding agency initiatives; prepares for such meetings and shares information, identifies concerns and trends, and recommends improvements to resolve problems or enhance the delivery of services; and considers ideas and points of view from other staff members.Serves as liaison to other governmental agencies, community organizations, and the general public; and explains and provides technical assistance on program specifics and requirements.Performs as the Serious Incident Administrator (SIA) as assigned.Assists with developing training materials and conducts training sessions for parents of TJJD youth as directed; assists in the collection, organization, analysis and/or preparation of materials in response to requests for program information; assists in preparing and evaluating program budget requests.Performs a variety of related duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed.Performs all duties in compliance with agency safety policies and procedures:Repo ts safety hazards and corrects hazards when possible.Completes required documentation in the event of an accident/injury within requested time frames.Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency attendance and leave policies.Actively embody and support the Texas Model by demonstrating its core values in daily tasks and interactions with others.Minimum QualificationsBachelors degree with major course work in psychology, social work, sociology, guidance and counseling, education, criminal justice or other related behavioral science. Four years of full-time wage-earning case work or case management experience.Preferred QualificationsCase work or case management experience working with adolescents. Supervisory or leadership experience.Experience and Education Substitutions:One year of appropriate experience may substitute for one year of college (30 course hours) on a year for year basis.Completed course hours of undergraduate study may substitute for up to four years of experience on a basis of 30 course hours for one year of experience. Completed course hours of graduate study may substitute for up to two years of experience on a basis of 12 graduate course hours for one year of experience. Experience requirements may be satisfied by the prorated part-time equivalent.May substitute case management with supervisory experience on a year-to-year basis.Certification as a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner may substitute for two years of experience.Certification as a TJJD TBRI employee may substitute for one year of experience.Training and proficiency as a facilitator or trainer of Evidence Based Interventions such as, but not limited to, Aggression Replacement Training (ART), SPARCS, Carey Guides or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) may substitute for one year of experience.Note: Any degree, diploma, high school equivalent, or course hours required to meet minimum qualifications must be from an acc
