Summary
The Director of Retail Health and Wellness Services will provide strategic leadership and oversight for Texas Health's retail health and wellness portfolio, specifically Physical Therapy clinics, Fitness Centers, and Executive Direct Clinics (which includes Executive Health and Concierge Medicine). Each of these service lines is operated in partnership with external or internal operating partners (PT Solutions, FXWell, and THPG respectively).
The Director will serve as the primary relationship director for these partners, working collaboratively with both executive and operational leadership teams of each partner, as well as subject matter experts and functional team leads within Texas Health. The director will ensure alignment with Texas Health's strategic intent and objectives, implement ongoing programs to measure and assess achievement of goals, and hold partners accountable for delivering consumer experience, quality, and financial outcomes.
Job Duties
Strategic Oversight & Growth:
Oversee and execute strategic partner market opportunities, growth strategies, and initiatives to maximize total value (financial, brand, consumer, cost of care) to Texas Health.
Coordinate with operating partners (PT Solutions, FXWell, THPG) to develop and align performance with system strategic goals and priorities.
In collaboration with VP, Ambulatory, Retail Health and Wellness, create innovative initiatives such as packaging various ambulatory assets with other system services lines and resources into cohesive, bundled employer offerings.
Drive coordination with key strategic and business development leaders to ensure service line growth is aligned with other key system growth strategies.
Partner Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners, managing relationships to identify and resolve issues.
Oversee and be the key contact for executing multiple administrative tasks to support service line operations such as: ordering supplies, replacing equipment, approving invoices, submitting purchase orders, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Ensure appropriate functional alignment between Texas Health corporate functions (finance, compliance, legal, quality, marketing), THPG, ambulatory service lines, and hospital channels.
Direct and conduct regularly scheduled operational, financial, and strategic business reviews with key partners.
Ensure inclusion of functional leaders from THR key leaders in reviews as appropriate.
Financial Stewardship:
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reviews for PT, Fitness, and Executive Direct clinics.
Ensure accountability for partner performance against financial targets; recommend adjustments to improve profitability and sustainability.
Partner directly with VP to evaluate capital investment needs and ensure disciplined resource allocation.
