Position Overview
Texas Fluid Power is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Pump Technician with hands-on experience rebuilding hydrostatic piston pumps and motors.
This role is for a technician who can hit the ground running with minimal technical training and immediately contribute to diagnosing, rebuilding, and testing hydraulic pumps.
You will be working in a clean, organized shop environment focused on precision component repair — not field service or general equipment repair.
Required Experience (Must Have)
Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience rebuilding hydrostatic pumps and motors.

You should be comfortable:
- Diagnosing pump failures and identifying root cause
- Disassembling, inspecting, and rebuilding pumps independently
- Measuring tolerances using micrometers and precision tools
- Identifying wear patterns and failure modes
- Working without step-by-step supervision
- Mounting pumps to test stand
- Perform bench-testing for pump efficiency
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and rebuild hydrostatic piston pumps and motors
- Perform detailed inspections and failure analysis
- Measure components and verify tolerances
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Follow established shop processes and quality standards
- Test and validate rebuilt units

Basic Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License
- Reliable Transportation to and from work
- Prolonged standing without issues
- Trained on forklift, or certified is a plus but not necessary
Employee will undergo a 90-Day Probation period before receiving full benefits
