About the Position
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for providing strategic operational leadership with outstanding customer service for a high volume, order fulfillment environment. The ideal candidate will administer all functions to ensure timely accurate product receipt, order fulfillment, and the optimization of resources and processes ensuring an excellent customer experience. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and enforce compliance with company policies/procedures, look for continuous process improvement ideas, and drive employee initiatives to create and promote an environment where employees are involved and committed to the success of the Company.
What are the key responsibilities?:
- Oversee Warehouse staff and daily operations, to include performance feedback.
- Communicate with the Customer to prepare workflow and manage scheduling of jobs.
- Maintain accurate inventory in proper warehouse racking and storage areas.
- Complete Weekly and Quarterly Cycle Counts, ensuring accurate inventory is maintained.
- Responsible for prioritizing and completing daily administrative/clerical tasks.
- Pick, pack, and ship materials.
- Verify and stage customer material.
- Record warehouse data, to include daily inspections.
- Able to operate forklift throughout warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Prior Warehouse Supervisor experience preferred.
- Forklift and warehouse experience required.
- Basic computer skills include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of employees within and outside the organization.
- Professional and effective demeanor when engaging customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to delete tasks.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in outdoor areas, subject to the elements.
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, pull, twist, push, and pull for sustained periods of time.
- Able to operate a computer and other office machinery using finger dexterity for typing and writing.
- Must be able to communicate, converse with, and exchange information by means of the spoken word.
- Able to perform physical effort to lift or move materials up to 50 pounds.
- Visual acuity to view a computer screen.
