Job Duties:Program Supervisor VI oversees all Unit Classification and Count Room Operations, including staff development, policy creation, and audit processes. This position ensures operational accuracy, adherence to agency standards, and effective coordination with unit personnel and external divisions. The role includes routine contact with inmates.You'd be a GOOD fit if:You have a bachelor's degree, ideally with coursework in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field. We also look for eight years of full-time experience in criminal justice, correctional administration, or program administration and any additional qualifying experience can count toward college credit on a year for year basis.You'd be a GREAT fit if:You have experience supervising employees, working in inmate classification or correctional unit operations, and communicating ideas and instructions clearly. You should be able to coordinate effectively with staff, departments, officials, agencies, organizations, and the public, as well as interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
