Job Duties:Supervises the classification staff on the unit; serves as a point of contact for inquiries concerning inmate's status; oversees the unit classification committee meetings and prepares reports; provides quality reviews of housing, changes in medical restrictions, security needs, and custody levels; processes all requests and needs through coordination with the unit and state classification committees as well as the unit administration; conducts unit orientation for newly assigned inmates regarding facility rules and regulations; and provides training for others.
