Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Webmaster Certification, plus one (1) year of full-time experience in web design, web development, or web programming/coding.
OR
Three (3) years of full-time experience in web design, web development, or web programming/coding.
OR
A bachelor's degree with 12 semester hours in computer science, web design, web development, or web programming/coding from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of full-time experience in web design, web development, or web programming/coding.
OR
Completion of 30 semester hours (600 clock hours) in computer science, web design, web development, or web programming/coding from a licensed vocational, technical, business, or accredited college, plus two (2) years of full-time experience in web design, web development, or web programming/coding.

This position is also available as a lateral transfer opportunity (LTO) to TCEQ employees within the Web Administrator II-IV state classification. The selected candidate must meet the minimum qualifications of the corresponding job in the Web Administrator II-IV series.
Work Schedule
Standard business hours are M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Individual and work group schedule determined by the TCEQ Program Support and Environmental Assistance Division.

This position is a member of our Program Support and Environmental Assistance Division.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain and exchange information with internal and external customers to develop, implement and maintain docuements, reports, spreadsheet and internal/external webpages for the Program Support and Environmental Assistance Division (PSEAD). Provide ShareNet training, guidance and oversight to staff in the Division.
- Analyze the layout of internet/Sharenet web pages for accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure materials posted on agency’s internal and external webpages conform to agency, industry, and accessibility standards. Ensure Division’s guidance, internal and external forms are accessible. Perform routine assessments to ensure the Division’s webpages and all associated content are accurate and working properly.
- Participate in development of tools to aid with project tracking and document/record management in support of PSEAD functions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of training activities associated with web enhancements, reporting, project tracking, and document/record management in support of PSEAD functions.
