- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using medical office management software
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment details, test results, and follow-up instructions
- Maintain organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations and office protocols
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care plans and support administrative workflows
- Handle incoming calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls to appropriate team members
Skills
- Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical information
- Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks such as data entry, filing, and appointment scheduling
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with patients and healthcare professionals
