Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High school coaching experience.
- Collegiate coaching experience.
- Professional dance experience.
- Choreography experience.
- General knowledge of NCAA rules.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
- Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to plan and organize effectively.
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
ADMINISTRATIVE:
- Direct administrative duties of the Texas A&M University’s Aggie Dance Team.
- Direct and organize fund raising activities
- Supervise out of town team travel to post season basketball tournaments for SEC and NCAA competitions.
- Supervise team try-outs and team selection process.
- Attend morning/weekend practices, workouts and dance team performances at home athletic contests.
- Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations. Establishes and ensures communication and enforcement of rules and regulations for all staff members and student workers supervised.
