The Adam C. Sinn ’00 Department of Finance in Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, invites applications for two part-time or full-time Academic Professional Track (Non-Tenure) or Visiting (Non-Tenure) positions at the (visiting) lecturer, (visiting) senior lecturer, (visiting) principal lecturer, (visiting) clinical assistant professor, (visiting) clinical associate professor, (visiting) clinical professor, or (visiting) assistant professor of the practice, (visiting) associate professor of the practice, and (visiting) professor of the practice, depending on experience and qualifications. The positions are nine-month academic appointments (September 1 – May 31), starting fall 2026. The successful applicant will be responsible for the organization, delivery, evaluation and assessment of finance courses and student outcomes associated with those courses.
For appointments at the "Lecturer" level including (Visiting) Lecturer, (Visiting) Senior Lecturer, (Visiting) Principal Lecturer: Applicants must have a PhD appropriate for the field in which the faculty member will teach or master's level degree appropriate for the field in which the faculty member will teach and significant teaching experience at the college level in the field or in a related field.
For appointments at the "Clinical" level including (Visiting) Clinical Assistant Professor, (Visiting) Clinical Associate Professor, (Visiting) Clinical Professor: Applicants must have a PhD in finance or closely related business discipline or JD in legal instruction or a closely related field.
Appointments at the "of the Practice" level including (Visiting) Assistant Professor of the Practice, (Visiting) Associate Professor of the Practice, (Visiting) Professor of the Practice: Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in the area that relates to their teaching and service and significant teaching experience at the college level in the field or in a related field or have an extraordinary record of accommplishment in an applied setting.
