We are currently seeking a Medical Biller who is experienced, detail-oriented, and motivated to join our administrative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit insurance claims for pediatric therapy services accurately and timely.
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims; appeal when necessary.
- Post payments and reconcile accounts.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Communicate with insurance companies, caregivers, and staff regarding billing issues.
- Maintain accurate billing records in compliance with HIPAA and industry regulations.
- Assist in preparing patient statements and responding to billing inquiries.
- Coordinate with front desk and scheduling teams to ensure accurate documentation.
- 2 years of experience in medical billing (therapy billing preferred).
- Working knowledge of insurance processes (private, Medicaid, and managed care).
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) and billing software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage a consistent billing cycle.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; billing or coding certification a plus.
