Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of experience in hospital billing experience
- Strong background in credit balance resolution with insurance experience
- Epic experience required
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented, high-volume environment.
- Investigate aged credit balance accounts for potential refund action.
- Collaborate with internal analysts to interpret findings and determine appropriate refund resolution.
- Process and document approved refunds for commercial and other non-governmental payors.
- Reconcile discrepancies between audit findings and internal records, escalating as appropriate.
- Communicate with internal departments to resolve account issues and confirm remittance accuracy.
